John D. Fornara, O.D.

Dr. Fornara is a 1982 graduate of Southern California College of Optometry.He has been in private practice in the Verde Valley since 1983.

Dr. Fornara has been a longtime member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association. He has been involved in various community clubs over the years, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cottonwood Lions Club and Catholic Social Services, as well as youth sports.

Shellee Serna, Office Manager

Shellee Serna has worked for Fornara Eye Center for over 12 years. Starting out working as an optician, she transferred to the back office becoming Dr. Fornara's technician. After working 6 years in this position she then became the office manager and has held this position for the past 5 years.

Jessica Martinez, Patient Manager

Jessica Martinez has been working as our patient manager and receptionist for over 2 years. Her friendly smile welcomes our patients daily and provides them with quality service going above and beyond.

Becca Knoblock, Back Office Technician

Becca Knoblock works as the Back Office Technician providing the patients with the initial workup and also assisting Dr. Fornara in every situation necessary. She also performs additional testing including Fundus Photos, OCT scans, Visual Fields Screenings and measurements on the IOL Master.
